Color Images of the F3H Demon

These photos were taken aboard Roosevelt (CVA-42) off the coast of Florida in March, 1957. Note that the VF-61 aircraft have the flat beaver tail, no in-flight refueling probes and no inboard, top-of-the-wing spoilers. They are F3H-2Ms and are a mixture from blocks f and g. Not all BuNos could be read due to the position of the aircraft in the photographs. If you are a former Demon driver, get out your log books and let us know if you flew any of these birds.
